Sir,
    with great pain and anguish i am reporting that recently i had some issues withlcd display of my laptop.accordingly i went to your authorised service center namely"Intarvo Technologies Ltd; brach-A-200,okhla industrial area,phase-I;new delhi".on 01-10-10.on 5-10-10 my notebook was returned with the remark display ok and keyboard refixed.after few days i again experienced same problem with the display and again on 13-10-10 submitted my notebook with the same service center again.on 18-10-10 when i was not intimated about the status of my notebook as is the usual practice; i myself went to check it out. and to my surprise i was told that the display CT No. was not matching the product.
when i asked how come it is not matching they fanned ignorance about it and instead started putting onus on me.
sir! it is pertinent to mention here that my notebook is still under warranty.and there is no reason for any sane person to act in any manner which will be detrimental to the warranty. it seems perhaps that their service engineer has done some mischief alone or may be as a group.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience with service center.However this forum is no way to contact HP officially.This is a peer to peer user forum, though there are some HP employees who participate here in an un-official capacity.

I gave my Laptop dv6-1245dx to the authorised HP service centre called Nortech, Poojppura, Trivandum (Thiruvananthapuram), Kerala for replacing the LCD panel which got a crack while travelling. The bill no is 7434 dtd 13/Nov/2010, Call ticket no: 490237 and they even asked me to pay an advance amt of 1000/- which I did and promised me on 17/Nov/2010. Till now nothing has happened and they are responding badly by putting the blame on the currier and trying to fool me. I am an IT professional working for a Technopark based company H.O in the US and now opted for working from home due to some personal reasons and for me the laptop is essential. Had this happened in the US, I am sure HP will service my laptop for free of cost for this kind of behaviour from the authorised service centre.

 

Couple of weeks have passed after I gave that to the service centre and I could imagine the handling of my laptop by those service people, it will have scratches and ditches for sure....

Recently I had some issues with my HP Laptop dv 6703 tx.
 
I went to your authorised service center namely "Maha Electronics Pvt Ltd. , HAL 2nd Stage, Indiranagar, Bangalore - 560038, INDIA" and registered my case with Case ID- 4632847208 on 30th July, 2011. As my laptop is 3.5 years old and out of warranty, I told them just to replace the top cover for trackpad only(as trackpad was not working) and there is some problem with the lid wirings because sometimes my webcam and display flicker when I close or open the lid (I thought that it is the minor issue with loose wiring). I also told them please do the needful as early as possible because I have a lot of depenency on my laptop and in case you can't get any part just let me know I will take my laptop without further delay.
 
After one day I got the confirmation message from service center that case is taken up and work is going on. Till this everything was fine.
 
Then I didn't got any reply from their side for 2 weeks. then i called them and enquired about my case id, the lady told me that sir there is delay from the part side, I told her please let me know if there is further delay, she told me sirIi don't know and I will ask from the engineers and will call you.
 
And this thing continues, they never ever called me and told me the right status and I always called them and finally asked them that I want to talk to your service center incharge than she told sir he will call you in 10 minutes, till this date I never got the call from them. And now I am writing this complaint on 10th september nearly after 42 days. Really I pissed off from their behaviour, we are their customers and more importantly HP customer and your service centers are treating us like this, this is really unacceptable.
 
As I am writing this to you, just now I got quotaion from their side (only quotation after 42 days, GOD knows when they will repair). The quotation is of Rs. 21,606.94 only on my 3.5 year old laptop. I am sure they just decided to replace the display panel without tried to fix the problem in the same display.
 
But now  I decided not to reply on that quotation and just I will get back my laptop in the same condition (after 42 days and also paid them Rs. 300. )
This 42 days even costs me very much.
 
I just want to bring this to your notice so that you can do something so that other customers will not suffer. I am wondering if this is the case with Bangalore service center then how is your other service centers across INDIA.
 
Sorry to say, but these type of incient costs you even more and because of my bad experience, I will not dare to advice anyone to buy HP products.
 
So please sir please take strict action on this and if you search you will find similar type of complaints on various complaint forums.
 
I hope you will read this and send me the acknowledgement.

Dear sir 

 

It is extermly bad expereince from your jaipur Service center REDINGTON , Ramesh marg, C-scheme , jaipur. We are Architecture consultancy situated in kota . we have K-8600 HP printer purchased from this center. recently  Yellow Printer Head of this printer had got damaged. i personaly went to REDINGTON jaipur office on 20 Oct-2011 and gave 2890 R/s in advance payment for replacement of this printer head. they assured me for 7 days of delivery at our kota office but still we havnt got and when we call to that service center then they lied to us about dispacting of printer head . Our  work has been stopped due to printer head and we can take legal action for your service center if we dint get printer head in today.we are bound to print outside and the costing of print is coming much more. 

 

Plz take action on this service center.

I own a HP Pavilion DV4 Notebook PC. I took it one and a half years ago. Just after one week of the purchase i started facing many complaints with my laptop. First the operating sytem failed ,then i started facing complaints with the keyboard. I got all this complaints repaired at an authorized service center.  Now i started facing problems with the CD writer ,the laptop is getting over heated. More over the laptop is getting stuck every then and now. My laptop has very low battery backup too. I am not able to properly work on it.

 

This laptop was gifted to me by my dad so i have got some sentimental attachment with it .  I after a long enquiry found that HP was the best brand to choose from and choose a laptop of your company but now the situation has come like i have to change my words. I still don't know the reason why i am facing all this troubles with my laptop.

I hope that you will help me to find a remedy.Anticipating your positive response.

I need the driver for my HP Photosmart printer and unfortunately I visited the website www.grantechzone.com and talked with representative James. He asked to take remote control session for my computer but I denied for the same. Then he used the abuse language and then told me that it will cost you $99. Request you to look into the matter.

You can download your printer drivers/software for free. Use the button at top of this page titled "Support & Drivers". Put in the model of your Photosmart and away you go to support pages.

 

Btw, as far as I know the site you visited is not connected to HP in any way..

Request you to look into www.grantechzone.com website. They have been befooling me to get support for printers and computers with a warranty plan although my computer and printer are not more than 3 months old. They asked me to make the payment online and took my credit card details. After making the payment they just disconnect the session and not supported me for the problems. I am worried about the payment procedure and the action they took to fooled people.

THE SWITCH PART FOR THE MEDIA SMART IS NOT WORKING

I WENT TO EMITAC IN UAE  I TOLD THEM ABOUT THIS CASE AND THEY TOLD ME WE WILL FIX IT

AFTER 2 MONTHES THEY TOLD ME HP SUPPORTING SERVICE THEY DONT HAVE THE PARTS

SO THE RHERE IS NO SOLUTION FOR YOUR LAPTOP

NOW I NEED AN URGENT SOLUTION FOR THIS CASE
