Instalar SSD WD green m2.

Buenas tardes.

Acabo de adquirir una HP PRODESK 600 G5, la versión que viene con un i7 9700, 1T de disco, y 8gb de RAM. También trae windows 10 pro de 64 bits.

Le compré un disco SSD M2 WD Green de 240GB, y me surgieron las siguientes dudas:

1. Si lo agrego, tengo que formatear el disco de 1TB, y reinstalar W10 en el M2? En éste caso la licencia se activa sola? Donde consigo el código de activación?

2. Pierdo la garantía?

3. Lo mismo que arriba pero si le agrego RAM.

Solo pierde la garantía si daña algún componente interno o externo,ademas la licencia en las tarjetas madres de equipos que vienen con windows 8 en adelante, tienen guardada la licencia en el bios.

Cual modelo es el modelo exacto de su equipo?

• PC de sobremesa mini ProDesk 600 G5 mini
• PC microtorre HP ProDesk 600 G5 modelo base (con ranura PCI)
• PC HP ProDesk 600 G5 con factor de forma reducido
• PC microtorre HP ProDesk 600 G5

Es la de formato reducido.

Entonces solo sería formatear el disco de 1TB, instalar el ssd, e instalar w10 pro?

Puede sustituir el HDD 3,5" de su equipo e instalar en ese lugar un SSD sata 3 de 2,5" pero obviamente tendría que adaptarlo o bien instalar el ssd en la disquera con un caddy y después realizar una instalación limpia a la nueva unidad.
